About OMFS
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS), also recognized across various European countries as Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery (CMF), is a specialized surgical field that demands rigorous academic preparation. In Belgium, as well as in many other nations, prospective oral and maxillofacial surgeons must earn dual Master's degrees in both Medicine and Dentistry. Following this accomplishment, they must then undergo a comprehensive specialist training program to acquire the necessary skills and qualifications to practice as a licensed oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
